I had done extensive research and received over 25 quotes from various companies ranging from $480 to $1,100 to move my 1948 Jeep CJ2A. I came across EZ Auto Movers Vie this review site and called Phil after reading good things. Immediately Phil started to work with me and understand my needs. Moving anything nearly 60 years old takes special attention of the situation, knowing and listening to my wants and needs. I didn’t need covered transport like other companies insisted on, example: DAS wouldn’t even touch it for under $1K just because it was old. Not only that but every time I would tell someone it was topless or from the 40s I would get transferred to a "specialist" tacking on 500 bucks. EZ was much different. Phil listened and we both agreed on what needed to take place as far as type of transport, not over protecting it, getting my jeep here in a reasonable amount of time at a reasonable price ($500 less then 11 other co. and $200 less then 9). EZ Auto Movers did just that. At $600 their bid to me was more then fair. It was not the cheapest but I believe you get what you pay for in the auto shipping biz. After talking with Joe (I think the Owner/manager he explained to me the ins-and-outs of the trucking business and how its all broken down, how to get a responsible driver with a realistic ETA given, and what to expect along the way. They did this all for me and then some. I didn’t even need to call Phil for an update. He contacted me with the good news my Jeep was being picked up before the previous owner even called me. My Jeep got here safe, sound and without incident. My driver was courteous, knowable, clean, well spoken, and he even stuck around a bit to talk about my new toy. Phil and Joe (even though Mets and Yankees fans) where top notch and made my first car shipping experience a positive one. Quick to answer the phone and even quicker to answer my questions, I will most definitely use these guys again.
