No Refund

They took my $150 deposit in August, never picked up the vehicle, and haven't refunded my money.

I placed an order with Nelson Smith (Order #63322) during the week of Aug. 6, 2012. Duo-Fast did not honor the terms of our arrangement because, according to Mr. Smith, a truck broke down. I cancelled my order in compliance with the terms of the original agreement on Monday, Aug. 13. On Friday, Aug. 17, Daylin Ramos indicated that Duo-Fast would mail me a refund check and needed a mailing address. On Monday, Aug. 20, I supplied her the mailing address. On Tuesday, Sept. 11, I notified Duo-Fast that it had been over three weeks since they said they would send my refund. On Thursday, Sept. 13, Katie Williams said that they did not notice my earlier response and they would send the check that day. On Tuesday, Sept. 25 I spoke to Alex Smith about my complaint, and he said I would hear back from Katie Williams that day. She never called. On Thursday, Oct. 4 I spoke to Bobby, and he told me they would refund the money to the credit card that I originally used. So far, I haven't received the money they owe me.

10-8-12 - UPDATE: Apparently, TransportReviews.com contacts each transporter when a review is posted here. They contacted Duo-Fast Transport about my review, and Duo-Fast told them that I was never a customer of theirs. TransportReviews.com took down my post until I sent them information proving that I was indeed a customer. If you are choosing a company to transport your vehicle, think long and hard before you contact Duo-Fast.
