So i originally obtained a quote for 2 cars to be picked up on 4/17. I was quoted $700 for the first vehicle and $650 for the second. That plan changed so on 4/7 I contacted David and told him that I needed only 1 car trasported. No problem. 4/30 pickup between 4-7 with an estimated delivery in Chicago of 5/6. He kept the $150 deposit ($75 for each car) and told me that it would be $600 COD. So my quote for $700 for one car jumped to $750....oh well. i changed the order so I don't hold that $50 difference against him.

Well I get a call from Natasha from Intransit verifying my pickup. This call happened on Friday April 25th. Great. I'm all set, right? Well 4/30 comes around and I give Natasha a call around 2:00 and leave a vm asking for when the guy is going to come pick my car up. I called David and he called and left a message with Natasha as well. Finally around 5pm I call Natasha again and finally get a hold of her. She claims that she contacted me and told me that she left a message but since i didn't call her to confirm she gave my spot on the carrier to another car and that she would not be able to pick up my car until the next day. Well, I was leaving at 5am the next day in a uhaul packed full of stuff. So after a heated conversation she finally agreed to send someone to pick up my car. She made absolutely no mention that the dropoff date had now changed from 5/6 to 5/12.

So 5/6 comes around and I take a day off of work in Chicago and I once again call her and David. Same song and dance. Natasha never calls me back and David claims to have called and left a message with Natasha. Finally after repeated attempts I get through to Natasha and at this point she informs me that my car is scheduled for drop off next week on 5/12. So I'm stuck in a new city without a car for another week. I was livid that she never once mentioned this to me. Again, she claimed that she did but I assure you she did not. If she had mentioned it from the beginning and been honest about it I would have been mad but at least I would have been able to plan accordingly. Screwed again.

So Monday 5/12 rolls around. I take the day off from work to make sure I'm home for the drop off. In the meantime I've been walking, taking the subway and bus to get around. Once again I call Natasha at Intransit. She said that she would check with her driver and call me back in 20 minutes. 90 minutes goes by with no call back. So once again I chase her down and she mumbles something about 5/15. Hydraulics out on the truck and they'll need another 3 days. I blow up. I ask her if she is still expecting $600 from me. She calmly and unapologetically says, "yes". By the way, not once has she called me back and not once has she expressed any remorse or apology to me. She just gave me the attitude that she could care less. I call David, the broker, and demand that he do something. He assures me that he'll do everything he can to at least get me $100 off of the COD price. He completely agrees that the shipper is mistreating me and tells me that he'll get something done. All i received was 5 emails stating that he is trying to call her. He left a message. She won't call him back. I finally ask him if he can refund me $100 to make things right. He comes back and tells me, "I will not be able to Daniel. This is a major problem because of Natasha and her driver. They has not fulfilled her duties on providing you the proper service." That is it. Literally that is all i got from him. If he is able to charge my credit card $150 then I'm sure he is able to refund money as well. He is the broker and needs to assume responsibility for the repeated failures of the company that he chose for this transport.

Okay so now it's 5/15 and I called Natasha again. Got forwarded to a voicemail and left a message. No call back. So I call back once again and she finally gives me the number to the driver. Great! Finally. Right? Nope. The driver answers and tells me that he's in Green Bay and will not be in Chicago until the next day. I resist the urge to blow up at him since this is all Natasha and David's fault. I double check with him that it's downtown Chicago tomorrow by noon. He confirms and we hang up.

Okay now it's Friday and I've taken yet another day off to receive my car. I get a call from headquarters back in Seattle. The driver cannot make it to downtown. No truck would ever go to downtown. Not even if you pay extra because it's so hard to maneuver. Okay I verified multiple times with David and Natasha that the delivery point is downtown Chicago. My original request was for Schaumburg but I updated that drop off to downtown and have been telling everyone I can for weeks leading up to the car being picked up and all the way up until the day before the actual dropoff. So I have pay $50 to take a cab out and meet the driver in the middle of nowhere.

Reviews stated that some of the cars were driven and returned with less gas than when was dropped off. Well I had a full tank of gas and the car was not used to my knowledge. Great right? Well when i get home i notice a 12 inch crack at the top of the windshield behind the rearview mirrow on the passenger side. Now I'm having to pay $377 to replace the windshield. There's no way in hell I'm going to even try to get them to pay for it. It would be a waste of my time and energy.

So there you have it. I will never ever in my life ship a car ever again. Thanks Dream Auto Transport and Intransit. Oh and by the way I placed a credit card dispute on the $150 I paid to David because I have clearly printed on a contract that the delivery address was my downtown condo, however, he did not deliver on that.

So if you want a guy that will tell you about 20 times that he left a voicemail and can't get through and never gets anything right then go with David. Otherwise, pay a little more and go with a professional company.

Daniel has every reason to be upset. I will NEVER use Intransit again to transport any of my vehicle. I did the best I could to keep in contact with the carrier and they were the ones who didn't return calls to me or the client he should have noticed that as well that the carrier company rep Natasha was not responsive.
