A total disgrace

My name is Jon and I am a member of the United States Armed Services and I chose to use Dream Auto Transportation company to move my vehicles from California to Florida. Gavin Michaels was the one who contacted me once I requested a quote and we settled on a price of $1635.00. The car was to be picked up in California on the 6th of July 2012. I called and spoke to Gavin on the 5th to confirm that the cars were going to be picked up and he told me, "There are two carriers in your area right now, and they will be there to pick you up tomorrow". Well, that was the last time I heard from him. Several calls went unanswered, when I got a hold of someone, they told me that Gavin was, "Out of the office" and would call me back. He never did, not did any of the folks that work at that location. I could write a long dissertation on how horrible and condescending the people that work at this company are. Here is the long and short of it. I am now in Florida, with a wife and two kids, paying 70 dollars a day for a rental car and both of my vehicles remain in California. PLEASE DO NOT make the same mistake I did by choosing this company to ship your vehicles.

The Customer Delivery location was at the bottom of the Florida Keys a location called Big pine Key. I couldn't get any carriers to agree to run the route. Trucks of that size are hard to driver on little bridges is what carriers kept telling me. He booked with me because my quote was the lowest and at that rate no one returned my calls. I even tried dropping my Deposit to only one car and place the remainder with the carriers portion that would be paid. So Finally I let him Know that its not going to happen to go to big pine key can we meet in Miami.At that location I was able to find a carrier who then agreed after negotiating to run the route at 1700. But jon declined. So I told him we would need to cancel the reservation because there is nothing else I can do for you. If not he would still be booked with my company waiting for a cheaper carrier. I tried my best to get it done.
