DO NOT USE DOOR TO DOOR AUTO TRANSPORT. You may be confusing this company with the highly reputable Door to Door Transport (www.dtdtransport.net). This company is fraudulent and will take your deposit and abandon your order. This business works as every broker posts a job on a board for drivers to see. If a driver sees a job it wants, it takes the job. Door to Door Auto transport will pocket your deposit and put your job on the board for an extremely low rate that no driver would possibly take. They will claim on the phone when you place your order that a driver will contact you. From there, they will not pick up the phone, unless there is a carrier for your order. Which you can see by the number of bad reviews that it is rare that a carrier will take one of their postings because of their low rates. Also, I understand that carriers tend to avoid this company because of their bad reputation. In addition, always be wary of companies that make you pay by western union. A reputable company will take all major credit cards. Never send a wire transfer, as Door to Door Auto requests, to an unknown party. I was lucky that I found out about this fraudulent activity on the day my car was supposed to be picked up because they would not return my calls.
