Ridiculous

The truck should have been Monday morning, then it was Tuesday then it was Wed morning, finally Wed evening. This required my family to stay near the truck because it was "suppose to happen today". It was suppose to be delivered within 48 hrs or so. Truck driver quit half way thru the trip, left the truck in Gary Indiana.

The issues associated with a employee that quits, I accept, the mutiple different stories I got on the background of the driver, long time driver never had this problem, driver we had issuse with for a long time, depended on who you talked to. Obviously, it was what ever got me off the phone, accepting their latest story.

Finally spoke to Sam, with Pelfrey Auto Transport, the carrier Done Right contracted. Called to change committment of Saturday morning, this is a 10 days after pick up, to Monday due to cost, again I can accept that. Truck did not come on Monday morning, then it was Monday night, didn't come. Then it was Tuesday morning, didn't come, then it was Tuesday night, finally made it.
I had a certified check made out to Done Right, the company I was doing business with. When the truck arrive, Pelfrey would not take the check and the banks were closed. If I didn't have the cash (which I did) in the bank to retrive from an ATM, they would have taken the truck leaving me to extend this ridiuculous ride.

The real crime, I told Done Right and Pelfrey that I didn't care what day it was to arrive, I said this repeatedly, I only wanted a firm date so I didn't have to waste my time waiting for yet another committment that did not get kept.

RJ, We are sorry for your bad experience and everything you stated above is unbelievable, but true. What we did provide you with was excellent customer service, by keeping you informed of all changes. We did fulfill our end of the bargain and completed our goal, by getting your car moved. That should have at least earned us 2 stars. Again, I’m sorry for the delay caused by us and our carrier.
