Naomi did a fantastic job of shipping my new BMW X5 35i

I imagine that by the time you read this review your head is spinning like mine was, fretting over who to chose to transport your valuable vehicle. For me, it was especially difficult, since I had a brand new, $75,000 2012 BMW X5 Sport Utility to transport from Southern California to Portland, Oregon. I had never used an auto-transport service before, so didn’t know where to start or who to trust.

Thanks to this cool website, I quickly received a number of competitive bids, and thanks to other reviewers, I was able to narrow down the field. It is remarkable how few transporters actually picked up the phone or responded to the messages that I left. But I was able to get in touch and stay in touch with Domestic Auto Transport very easily, both by phone and email.

I'm so glad that at the end of the day I chose Domestic, and I was lucky to get Naomi as my rep. Although, I admit, I was at first interested in them for no other reason than that they were a local company to my destination in Portland, Oregon. There were a few bids lower and many higher… but after dealing with them, they would be my #1 choice for shipping my car anywhere…and should be yours, too.

After receiving my X5 and spending some time in Portland area for the first time, it opened my eyes to how wonderful the people are there (especially compared to So. Calif). Everyone is so friendly, helpful and courteous. I believe this was one of the reasons I had such a great experience with this company. Naomi as well as well as the owner of the company went far out of their way to help and accommodate me, and it will be something I will always remember and appreciate. The pickup and delivery went like clockwork (and I think I was lucky to get a driver who also had an X5).

Now for full disclosure: they offer to send customers, like me, a rebate check of $30 to post a review here. But to be sure, I would have done this posting regardless. And considering the value of my time, if I weren’t so grateful for them transporting my car 1,300 miles to arrive in perfect condition, and for the great service I received, I would have passed on the rebate.
