I worked with Sherry at Domestic Auto Transport. She was very pleasant and appeared
to be knowledgeable about the business. There were two glitches- she promised to
call me back on a Friday afternoon after I had pressed her on a pick-up time. She
did not. However, she did call on Monday morning and apologized and provided me
with the information I sought. It was also not made clear to me that I would have
to pay the Driver by Cashier's Check or in Cash. In the past, I had always given a
credit card to the Broker or sent a check for full payment. I would use the company
again since now I know the specifics of how they operate. I suggest that for first
time users they provide all the details in writing in order that misunderstandings
do not happen. Also, final price was over $100.00 more than the first quote. I assume
this was due to the increase in gas prices.

It was a pleasure transporting your vehicle for you. In my defense I do have to state that you were aware of what our terms and conditions were when we sent you the quote for transporting. It clearly states that we only take a deposit off your Credit Card once we have your vehicle on a carrier and the remainder amount goes to the carrier at the end of delivery with either cash, money order or cashiers check. We can however transport your vehicle with taking the full payment off a Credit Card if we know this ahead of time for an extra 3% fee. If you ever need another transport in the future I will be happy to assist you. Take care.
