It took too long to get my vehicle picked up. I kept calling daily as I was anxious to get the vehicle picked up and delivered. I was told that they thought that they had a carrier and were hoping to hear back from him but I would call the next day and pretty much get the same story. After at least a week with no pick up date in sight, I said that I was going to go to another broker. Within two hours I got a call from a manager (Naomi) and was told that she had good news and bad news. The good news was that they had a carrier but it would cost $100 more but she did offer to split the cost which I thought was fair and at this point I really wanted to get my vehicle. I was told the pickup would be the following Monday however, the seller got a call from the driver that he was picking it up on Friday (3 days early). Luckily this worked for him. I never got a call from DAT only from the seller. When I called DAT on the following Monday, they seemed surprised that the vehicle was already picked up and then they sent me the confirmation paperwork. The car arrived on Wednesday in good condition. This was two weeks after originally contacting DAT. I got the car a week later than I expected and for $50 more than was originally quoted. I felt the communication from DAT was less than adequate and I felt I needed to keep calling them to keep the process moving.
