I was referred to domestic auto transport by a friend. I shipped my car from Boston to Stockton, CA in July. It should be a rush hr for car transport, I think.
Overall experience is not bad. Malia and other representatives are very easy to reach and helpful. They were not able to find a carrier for the time period 7/12-7/19 we preferred, but they did find one for us for pick-up on 7/21 with a $50 price increase. And the car was picked up on 7/20. The truck drivers are very nice. We requested to have it delivered on 7/29. The car arrived on Sacramento on 7/27. For sure, we were not able to have it delivered as we would not be there till 7/28 late evening. On 7/28, our flight from Boston to SF turned out to be delayed by 3hr. Since the driver was driving to SF that night, after lots of conversation over the phone with the truck driver and working with the flight company, we had the car delivered in SF that night. We stayed in SF and skipped our next flight to sacramento. We cancelled the car we reserved to rent from AVIS. We found some scratch on the front cover next morning when we washed the car, which was probably caused by heavy metal train. Our car was placed underneath during transportation. The scratch is impossible to be seen in that evening and either when the whole car is covered by dust. Since we did not see it on-site, and the drivers were so nice, we did not contact them about it.
Overall experience is definitely not bad. Hopefully we are able to fix the scratch at a cheap price. By the way, we forgot to ask what is company name of the carrier and we are also not sure how to spell the driver's name.

As you can see, you will never call Domestic Auto Transport and get voice mail or be put on hold for more than just a few seconds, our customers deserve the best and we all help each other out. I am so happy things worked out but sorry you had slight damage to your Cadillac. On Monday when I get back in the office I will call you and give you the contact information for both the carrier and their insurance agent. Thanks again.
