I have had one other vehicle transported through a different company, but was unsatisfied with the move. I decided to move our other car with a new company. I priced several companies. Expecting a price match, I decided to go with Domestic Auto Transport. Everything sounded great at first. However, our car was not getting assigned so the lady I had spoken with called back and asked for more money for a specific carrier to pick it up. It was picked up after we agreed to more money, mainly because we were deperate to get our car here. It was promised for 5 day delivery. We recieved no call on the 5th day for an update. On the 6th day, we recieved a call at 7am from the carrier saying he would be 5 hrs. After a couple calls telling us he was going to vbe later and later as well as indecision as to where he should bring the car (it is NJ and the streets can be difficult), we finally recieved the car at almost 6pm. While the carrier was polite, it was frustrating waiting all day for the car, only for it to be delivered late and not at my home. Overall, I would have to say I may think twice next time when looking for a transport company, but the service wasn't bad enough to turn me off completely.

Tori...we appreciate your review and your feed back. When price matching we match a quote given to you by another company, most often we find the other company has under quoted you (possibly just to get your business or because they are not as experienced in the industry). When we quote our customers we review the national freight board (which all brokers post available freight on - this is also where all of the carrier's book their freight from) and compare what the other vehicles are offering the carrrier on your same route. It is imperative your vehicle is competitively priced with the other vehicles on the same route because the carriers choose what they will transport according to what they will be paid and in this industry the lower quote is not always the best. On occasion a carrier will take a vehicle at a lower rate but if not, our policy on price match is after five days if your vehicle has not been assigned to a truck, we must raise the price to our original quote in order to get your vehicle moved. In regards to the carrier being delayed, we apologize and please understand they do the best they can meeting their estimated deadlines. If I can further assist you please call me. Thank you.
