Overall Domestic Auto Transport (DAT) provided good service. Elizabeth was a pleasure to work with and always responded promptly. However, the sales pitch highlighted that their industry connectedness was such that they could have my vehicle moved faster then other brokers. In fact, 1-7 days was the provided range, which is why I chose DAT. Unfortunately, 7 days came and went without a call. When I contacted DAT, not Elizabeth specifically, to get an update, that is when I was told the 1-7 was an average. Many days and phone calls later, Elizabeth finally found a carrier (I placed the order on 30 Dec. and it was pick-up on 20 Jan.). To be fair, Elizabeth was very nice and informative and even continued adding more money from DAT's profit to find me a carrier.

In the end, I would have preferred that the company's sales pitch not harped on the 1-7 day window of pick-up without equal attention being paid to the potential issues that could slow pick-up (e.g., winter, costs, etc.), but that is not Elizabeth's fault. The faults lies with the marketing executives within DAT.
