We were quoted $739 for the transport. When our credit card was charged we did NOT receive a $50.00 discount as qouted and were charged an extra 3% fee for processing a credit card which brought the total to $812.67. After waiting for a day for Malia to "clear" a refund from her supervisor the 3% was credited. At that point I requested quotes from other companies. They ranged fro $625 to $850. Since the transaction was already in process we decided to go through with letting Domestic Auto Transport proceed. I was told the vehicle would be picked up on the 16th. Upon initiating contact on the 20th I was told that DAT would go ahead and "schedule' the pick up. When the transport company arrrived at the dealership they could not pick up the vehicle because DAT had neglected to provide the VIN # which I offered upon creating the order and was told it was not necessary. Finally on the 23rd the vehicle was picked up in OH and I was notified the "ESTIMATED" delivery would be the 24th. Even the most inexperienced person in the transport business should have realized next day vehicle delivery from OH to CO is HIGHLY unlikely.
We have used this company in the past and everytime there were issues including one vehicle's glass being broken in transport and we were NEVER reimbursed for the replacement.
We will definately not use this transport company again.

Bart.....BAD EXPERIENCE??? WHY DID YOU CONTINUE TO SHIP WITH US?? 1. This was the first time I have worked with you as a customer. 2. In the past you had always worked with Casi. (no longer with our company) 3. This was a $50 rebate not a $50 discount. 4. You wanted to put the entire amount on your company credit card and a 3% processing fee is always added to credit card payments. 5. Casi had been waiving the 3% fee for you without the owners approval 6. The 3% fee was promptly refunded by the owner of Domestic 7. As far as the pick up and delivery dates, these are ESTIMATES given to US by the carrier who is assigned to your vehicle. 8. The VIN number is typically never needed for shipment. 9. The carrier contacted me before pickup, said they needed the VIN , I was on the phone with the dealership immediately, got the VIN and gave it to the carrier within a matter of five minutes. 10. The carrer was able to pick up the vehicle immediately. 11. Yes it is HIGHLY unlikely a next day delivery from Ohio to Colorado would happen. I am glad you were smart enough to figure out that this was an error, caused by a glitch in our system. 12. We wish you luck in finding another broker who will cater to your every needs and guarantee every date they give you for pick-ups and deliveries.
