The only reason I don't give this experience a max rating is that I was asked to pay $625 in cash to the driver at 10pm when the car was delivered. I had given a credit card number to Domestic and expected that to be used for billing. The driver showed up, he was very nice, seemed to be caught in the middle, and told me he had to collect $625 in cash. He called his supervisor after I questioned having to pay in cash. The supervisor was the one person who was a jerk during this experience - he said that despite having a credit card on file, I had to pay cash right there (no check, no credit card, etc) or the car would not be released (this is happening at 10 at night). Luckily, the driver was nice enough to wait while I ran to an ATM and luckily I could withdraw that much from the ATM.

The actual transport was fine, car was picked up and delivered within time frame promised. The representative from Domestic and the actual driver were very nice. It was just the demanding on $625 in cash at 10pm suddenly that was a little shady.

Thank you for the review Nick. I am sorry you misunderstood our payment proceedure. We never process the deposit information before the vehicle is picked up and the carrier always is paid in cash or money order upon delivery. All in all, I am happy you were pleased.
