The first time experience was nerve- racking. However, the issue was with the transport carrier company and the lack of communication as to actual pick up and delivery date/time. The fact that the carrier manager was involved in the actual pick up and said the delay was due to their truck having to go in for maintenance. That is good, please communicate that there is a pick up delay to the customer. I was not in a time crunch to get the car but I had to arrange for folks to be available to release the car to the carrier driver. On the delay of delivery, there was bad weather but again no communications from the driver although I was given a delivery time. When I finally got a hold of the driver, he said he was tired and had to sleep thus didn't make the scheduled delivery time. Again, it is all about communications! I am not sure of this transport carrier company but I can say that all of my dealings with Domestic Auto Transport (DAT) were very good. The quick response of a quote and telephone follow up was very good. The price was reasonable and DAT representatives Tara and Casi were very good, and helpful. I would use DAT again in the future but not so sure about this particular carrier.
