Shipped 2 vehicles. Amy was great. The transporter was a nightmare

We shiped two vehicles from Philadelphia to Colorado. Amy called and said a transporter(ELIK Transportation) in MA would take them for an extra $100, since one of the vehicles was a dually pickup truck, bringing the total to $1700. They were supposed to pick them up on Fri. morning. They got delayed, called and changed it to Sat. morning. They (the transport company, not Domestic) called 5 or 6 times on Sat. and kept putting it off a couple of hours, until finally, they showed up at 2:00am on Sunday morning to pick up the vehicles. The woman from ELIK would not tell us where the drivers were, just that they were "in traffic". Their truck was a piece of junk and we didn't expect it to make it up into the mountains in CO. We were right and the transporter's engine blew on the way up to the mountains. They got another truck to bring the trailer up the next day. They called at 1:30am to say they cpould deliver them at 2:30am. We told them they'd have to wait until a decent time of day. They came the next day (Wednesday)at 9am. When they backed the cars off of the trailer, our Volvo was driven off of the ramps and it dropped a foot and a half to the ground.
This was not the experience we had hoped for, but Amy kept in close contact throughout the whole ordeal. When she left the office, Casi called to check in and make sure everything was going as planned. Since we were delayed so much, and the transport company woman lied to us so much, Amy negotiated $200 off of our total due to the driver. She promised me that Domestic Auto Trans. will not be using ELIK Transportation anymore. I will recommend D.A.T., and wil use them when we ship our vehicles back at the end of summer. I would beware of ELIK Transportation out of Mass., though, and would not use them.
