I chose Kim because of previous reviews but had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH HER and the transporter company XXX. She said there would be no problem finding a driver for me but unfortunately this was not the truth: I had to keep calling her to get updates. Finally two days before my expected pick up date she called me back and told me she found a transporter but the fee was $750... didn’t she give me a quote of $632 earlier? Not sure if she was charged extra from the transporter or simply decided to charge me more because I have no other option but using her as the broker!! I negotiated the fee down to $700. If I had had time, I would definitely find a different broker. The transport company picked up my car on Monday and promised me it would be delivered Thursday before 10am. I called the driver Tuesday and Wednesday for follow-up because I have a job interview Thursday afternoon and was told the same story: car would be delivered on time. Wednesday afternoon I received a call from the transport company saying my car wouldn’t be delivered until Thursday 4-6pm. I called Kim and asked her to contact the transporter on behalf of me but she basically tried to stay out of this and told me IT'S NONE OF HER BUSINESS, I SHOULD TALK TO THE TRANSPORTER DIRECTLY AND HUNG UP on me. I ended up cancelling my interview. Kim and her company may have provided good service in the past; but when something goes wrong, she doesn't want to get involved AT ALL and to me, THIS IS THE KIND OF COMPANY YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS FOR SECOND TIME. I’m leaving feedback here to make sure future customer THINK TWICE before you choose domestic auto transport

Kimberly@Domesticautotransport.com 360-834-6013 Peter, I will respond to this so you will stop calling our office and disrupting us. Lets start at the beginning. You placed your order on the 25th of May for a pick up of June 3rd. We found a carrier to pick up the 4th which is within our 1-10 day window for pick up. You then called me to tell me that the carrier would be delivering later than you wanted them to. You told them a time frame that you would receive the vehicle. I explained to you that its their schedule, their ESTIMATED dates and times. We have no control over that. You then proceeded to YELL and me, have your wife call and YELL at me an the entire staff in the office. You told me you wanted the vehicle delivered at 6 pm no earlier no later. I told you that if the carrier could do that then they would but again its their ESTIMATE for time frame not ours. You didn't like that answer and began yelling at me again. I told you if you kept yelling at me I would put you on hold, you kept yelling so I put you on hold. You then hung up, had your wife call again and she yelled at me so I put her on hold as well. When I went back to the phone call I told your wife that I would call the carrier to tell them they could deliver after 6 pm as your wife had told me. I then called the carrier. YOU then called me back to tell me that you didn't like that he said he would deliver after 6 pm, you wanted 6 pm no earlier no later. YOU then told me that since I wasn't doing anything that you would just figure it out with the carrier. I said ok. About the pricing, we quoted you at 632 yes with a deposit of 150. There was a carrier that called in and wanted 750 to total for a increase of 118. You didn't want to take that so I said I would see what I could do. I got them down to 700 which was 68 more than we quoted you, and we paid the rest out of our deposit, so we only too 100 instead of 150. I was trying to make it so you could have your vehicle picked up since you had to have it picked up by the 4th. So we made less money to move your vehicle, you then call and YELL at me because the drivers ESTIMATED time was not exact. NO carrier will EVER promise to deliver by a certain date. If their truck breaks down or gets delayed by someone else then their promise isn't valid, so they will NEVER PROMISE. The dates and times are ESTIMATES. Our job is to find you a carrier in your time frame, which we did, and did everything we could to keep it at the quoted price, you could have declined the carrier for the extra 68.00 but you wanted to take it. I NEVER said it was none of my business. If it was non of my business I wouldn't still be doing this after 5 years, and managing a company. YOU told me you would take are of the timing issue because you didn't like the answer I was giving you from the carrier. I'm sorry but Peter you are a customer that no matter what I said to try to help the situation you didn't want to hear it and all you wanted was to yell at me and my staff. For anyone else reading this, Domestic Auto Transport provides excellent customer service, but we cannot control the carriers schedules. Please make sure you read terms and conditions before setting up with a company. Here is the part in our terms that clearly states we don't guarantee, promise etc any time frames: 6.
