Ok, here’s a general statement for the auto transport industry. If you are going from a large city to a large city then you will have a pretty clean experience. It’s when your pick up or destination city is smaller that problems may arise. I did plenty of online research and called 5 transport companies for my move from Philly to Santa Fe. My quotes had a range of $300.00. I didn’t take the cheapest quote. I spoke to one agent that told me even though the price may seem a bit high, there was no way my car was coming to Santa Fe at a lower cost. Well after my car sat in Philly for 1 week with no imminent pickup date I got a call back from carrier saying for and additional $160.00 my car would be picked up. Turns out it was exactly the price quoted by the agent that said her price was accurate. On the plus side my car was picked up promptly, Heather was in constant contact with me through the process. Car made it out west in three days. And was in excellent condition.

heather@domesticautotransport.com (503) 919-4375: Thank you Chip for choosing Domestic Auto Transport. I am glad that your over all experience was a success and I look forward to your return business and referrals. You were a great customer to work with and I would have rather your price increase $160 be from the origianal quote I gave you, rather then start at the higher price and still have a carrier come back for more which in the long run would have cost you more to move your car. Blessings my new friend - HL
