You are probably researching, as I did. Who do you pick? It was a crap shoot for me. I spoke with Marlo, and she promised a pickup in two days, with a delivery two days after pickup. And at a good rate. I was skeptical, especially after seeing horror stories all over the web. I even saw one that concerned me about Direct Connect. But I also am aware that the ones who are unhappy are the ones who write reviews. The happy ones generally don't, which is why I am. I appreciate good service, and feel that when it's given, it should be preached about to help the company. Some of the big name transportation companies were 75% higher in cost. I like to save money where I can, so I took a "gamble". The pickup was on time. The driver was communicative and friendly. The delivery was EARLY. I actually told Steve, the driver, that he could call me at any time during the night. He told me he would meet me at 6:00 in the morning, but as I mentioned if he was just waiting for me to get up, he could call whenever. These guys have a tough schedule, so me waking up for him was no big deal. He called me at 1:30 in the morning telling me he was 20 minutes out. No problem! I was excited to get my Jeep. We met, unloaded the Jeep, and he even gave me a ride back to my house. Certainly went above and beyond the call of duty. Great service from the contracted driver, and great service from Direct Connect. As my subject line states, they definitely have my future business. Peace of mind is invaluable when you are shipping your baby, and the bonus here is that the rates are great too.
