I had made arrangement to go to NY to look at a 1982 Collectors edition Corvette, with 33000 miles on it in very good condition. Knowing that I was going to purchase this vehicle and that I was traveling long distance to look at it I thought it to be prudent to have transportation arranged at the same time that I was looking and buying the car. When I got there I found out that Billy had already tried to pick up the car. Then that afternoon, Billy then tried to pick up the car again by driving it around 15 miles away in order to load it at 10pm, which was not going to happen. After a long conversation with Mike we got another driver to pick it up when available because I had to go back to Florida the next day. When I got back to Fl. I tried to get some kind of commitment from Mr. Grosso as to when the car would be picked up, by who and when it would be delivered. All I heard for 2 days was I'll call you back and don't worry about it. And then nothing but dead air and crickets. If it wasn't for the great guy who sold me this gem of a car I would not have know when the car was picked up and by who. He called me on Saturday to tell me that Dan had picked up the Vette and would be in Florida by Monday. On Saturday dispatch at Direct Connect was still trying to tell me that Billy was transporting the car. The end result was that Dan was here on Monday evening with no problems. I never heard anything from Mike Grosso. So if you don't mind when they are picking up your vehicle, who is picking up your vehicle and when it is getting delivered then go with these guys.
