My experience with this company was extraordinary, and I'm considering it nothing short of devine intervention.
My brother Peter had made arrangements with another company 2 weeks earlier to have our vehicle picked up at earliest possible date. We were given a pick up date of October 24. No show. Upon calling the company, they informed us that a truck would be picking up the car no later than Saturday October 26. Again, no show, but this time, as we repeatedly tried to call them there was no answer as they were closed until Monday morning. Called Monday morning and we were told that there would be a truck picking up our car no later than 12 noon Tuesday Oct 29. This was getting dangeriously close to our deadline as the car had to be moved from Virginia no later than Wednesday, Oct 30. At 1 PM on Tuesday, I got a frantic call from my brother in Virginia that not only had the truck not showed up, but when he finally reached the contractor, they had no idea when it would be able to be picked up. I'm in Arizona and I work nights so I was awakened by my brother's frantic call. I got out of bed and prayed to God for a solution. I went online and starting calling contractors to no avail.
I start a new paragraph here because this is when the experience turned extraordinary. I called Direct Connect expecting another cold rejction. Marc Richards answered the phone with the most pleasant I've received in an ages. He most patiently listened to my frantic situation and replied "Well, let's see what we can do". Witnin a minute he got back to me and said "We can have the car picked up tonight - will that work?" I was ecstatic. Marc than called my brother to firm up the arrangements. My brother called me after speaking with Marc and his comment was "What a nice man!".
From that point on, everything went as smooth as could be. The truck showed up exactly on time to pick up the car and delivered exactly when expected to our home in Arizona.
So to sum it all up, Marc Richards and Direct Connect turned our potential disaster with the other company into an absolute miracle. I am most grateful.
