Direct Transport would not guarantee a pickup date, as the date I needed the car pikced up was approaching and I found another company that would guarantee a pickup date Direct Transport refused to refund my Broker Fee and was insistant that the other company couldn't be transporting the vehichle themselves even though they completely checked out.

After pickup was finally setup, the pickup was a day late, the car delivered 7 days later than it was originally supposed to making the transit time 17 days which was only supposed to be 7-10.

Car was driven over 100 miles during the trip somehow, Tailight was smashed and the driver tried to hide this by jerry rigging the tailight to be held in place by a bungy cord on my BMW, it was obvious the interior cover was recently unclipped (not clipped back together well) and the internal foam recently cut for this bad repair.

So as far as I can tell the car was taken for a joy ride for a week, during which the taillight was smasheed and poorly attempted to cover up. Direct Transport was the broker for this deal and vouched for the trucking company, which was out of my control once I allowed them to negotiate for me.

I regret not taking the loss on my Broker fee and going with a different company before the car was picked up.

FIND ANOTHER CARRIER, ONE THAT WILL TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR THE TRANSPORT AND REFUND YOUR MONEY IF THEY CAN"T DELIVER.

This review was a real surprise! We booked this customer 3/2 and dispatched his vehicle on 3/8, 4 days before his first available ship date, at the rate we quoted. No, we never guarantee a pick up date as we are a broker and do not have our own trucks to make this statement. As you can see by reading the above review he fell prey to a tactic some brokers use. If some one guarantees you a pick up date hang up the phone and look elsewhere. We were never asked for a refund, and for the record we would not have given one. We performed our service, the carrier we used has a 96% rating and all the current insurance and limits. In fact we have used this driver before with no problems. If you have a bad cruise do you complain to the travel agent or the cruise line?
