First, let me start by saying Sarah from Dependable Auto Movers (D.A.M.) was a great help and my markings do not reflect "Sarah" from Dependable Auto Movers. After finding out that I was due to deploy for training for Iraq Sarah worked with me and had my car picked up from my home of record, Beaumont, TX in two business days (6 June). After that, that's when it all started. Although D.A.M. gave me a 2-3 delivery date, I went with an average from all the movers I researched on the web which was 7-10 business days. After 10 business days, no car, and no phone call, I called to shipping company directly. The distant end answered "Hello" so I hung up assuming I dialed the wrong number and called again and received the same response.... "Hello" After asking "the owner" if this was the correct number I proceeded to ask about my car. I was told by the "owner" that there was a short delay and I would receive my Thursday no later than Friday (15/ 16 June) and was satisfied with a two day delay. Once again Friday the 16th came around and I called the company again and was told an additional day was needed and would be delivered by 17 June so I told the "owner" that his driver marked my number down incorrectly and was told by the "owner" that he didn't have anything to write on nor write with and gave me the number to his driver that had my car. I called the driver and was told that the delivery truck engine had blown and it was in the maintenance shop and would be "back on the road by tomorrow" (Sunday 18 June) and I would have my car by Monday evening before midnight (19 June). I called D.A.M. Monday afternoon and spoke with Sarah about the SERIOUS lack of professionalism and whereabouts of my car. I also inquired about the remaining payment owed to the trucking company in which everyone including Sarah evaded answering to the end. Long story short, my car arrived 25 June2006 with oil sprayed all over it because of the blown truck engine and oil stains inside because of the driver didn't clean himself before stepping inside my car. I wasn't offered ANY type of deduction from Dependable Auto Movers nor the truck company because they cited it wasn't there fault. Well, I have two things left to say ...1) the engine wouldn't have blown if preventive maintenance was performed monthly.....2) It's never ceases to amaze me how Americans treat each other...and this company has given me allot to think about while deployed in Iraq. Thank you Dependable Auto Movers for recommending my BMW 325i being moved by the sorriest, unprofessional trucking company in the United States.

Leroy, We completely understand your fustrations and are still workng with Rabers "owner" on your behalf to get you reimbersment for the oil damage. The shipping company and owner you are refering to is Raber's Auto transport and we will obviously never contract out to them again. As a company we do intrust trucking companies to do the job we contract them to do, in this case it was unfortnate that the driver and the "owner" of Raber's were not honest or resposive to you or us!! We will work with with you until satisfaction is achieved!! Sarah
