I let myself go by the good reviews this company had in this web page, but at the end things went the wrong way. At first the costumer service was outstanding, very efficient and they were always available. The timing was perfect without delays. I paid for an open carrier thinking it was a reasonable price from Boston to Houston, Texas (1800 miles).

Things went wrong when the car was delivered with around 1800 new miles. These guys definitely drove my car instead of transporting it on a trailer. They never wrote down (which is their responsibility) the initial mileage on the pick up form, but I have enough proof from a recent car service stating my car's mileage at the time of the pickup.

I have been calling this company almost every day for the last 4 weeks and at first they would answer and tell me that they did their job finding a carrier for me and that was not their responsibility anymore but that they will see what they can do for me.

Since my lawyer called them they now leave us on hold for 10 minutes and the manager is never available. Of course, they always promise they will call back and never do. I am planning to keep you posted through this web site regarding this complaint.

We want to thank each and every customer for posting their experiences on this website. If this review, leads one customer to read our terms and conditions, then it has been worth it. We try to explain to every customer that we are a broker. We find trucking companies to transport vehicles for you as a customer. We hired A&G Transport (out of Westfield MA) to transport this vehicle. The trucking company says they picked up the vehicle on a car hauler, which the customer said yes they did and the trucking company delivered the vehicle on a car hauler, which the customer again said yes they did. The team drivers said they did not drive the vehicle. The customer left their car with someone else at the pick up point until we could find a driver for them. It puts Dependable in an awkward position because we were not there. We do not know if the pick up person put the extra miles on the car, or the drivers, or the customer. It is impossible for us to know who is telling the truth. We did explain to the customer that there was no notation of any discrepancies on the inspection report and legally our hands are tied at that point. Even though, once we secure a trucking company for you, we have fulfilled our portion of the transport, we did follow up with the trucking company several times, to see if there was anything that could be done. The inspection report clearly states “Absolutely no claims for damage will be allowed unless noted immediately upon delivery,” And once the trucking company has delivered the vehicle and they have received payment, their part of the transport is completed as well. We offered the trucking company’s information to the customer, but they wanted us to see what we could get done. We have forwarded all the trucking company information to the customer, so that they may pursue this matter further if they so choose. Dependable did not hear from the customer’s lawyer and if we do, we will be happy to assist in any way possible.
