An order to ship my car was placed with Dash Auto based on their prompt repsonse, a very competitive quote, and the fact that I had used them once before. 5 days later, due to a change in plans, I cancelled the order and requested a refund of my $200.00 deposit. Their stated policy, guaranteed in writing, is that all refunds will be granted if requested within 30 days of booking.
After repeated requests by telephone, e-mail, fax, US mail, and certified mail, there was no repsonse whatsoever. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in response to which Dash agreed to send the refund and represented to BBB that they had done so. An outright lie!
I have since filed a complaint with the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Dash is not to be trusted and you should be aware of their unscrupulous dealings.
