The Haulbikes driver delivered my Can Am Spyder on Dec 23, 32 days after it was picked up. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. My pick up advantage was the fact the bike was only 70 miles from their Milwaukee terminal.

Keep these things in mind if you are considering using Haulbikes to transport your machine.

They are contract haulers for Harley Davidson so that means they are not a slouch outfit. They haul all of Harley's trikes from the factory.

The pickup and delivery dates are estimates only. All roads lead to Milwaukee, WI or York, PA. Your bike will go there after it is picked up. It then comes to the delivery point from there. The driver said they have 30 trailers traveling the country, all pulled by contract owner/operators. Trailers are moved only when there enough bikes on it to make it profitable. IF PICKUP AND DROP OFF DATES ARE CRITICAL for your move, use someone else or some other way to move your bike. But no trucker is going to guarantee those two dates, especially LTL shippers.

You deal directly with Haulbikes (Daily Direct, LLC) and not through a third party broker who doesn't give a rats rear about your shipment. The driver was quite pleasant to deal with during the unloading.

The trailers are set up for bike hauling and they know how to take care of your bike on the way. The only thing I saw on my Spyder when it came off the truck were hand smudges from it being pushed around.

Make sure a semi can get into the pickup place and drop off point. They pick up and drop off right on the street using the lift gate. No ramps are used.

Compared to the other options I explored their price was the best for enclosed shipping, less than half of what it would have cost me to fly to WI and rent a U-Haul to bring it back to Idaho.

If you are willing to work within the limitations of a specialty hauler in a low volume business you'll have a good experience.
