2018 August We needed to transport our 1996 Honda Civic from Norcal to Socal, approx. 350 miles. We didn't want to drive our car the distance considering she's 22yrs old and probably wouldn't do well on the grapevine. All I can say is that Mark @ DIY transport was efficient, courteous, and on the ball with our transport request. They found a driver from our town who could take our old car to the final destination, all in one day! Mark @ DIY was a godsend and we're grateful he was the one who assisted us. I don't know about the other negative reviews, but as with anything, always read the fine print in their terms & conditions so that you don't get unnecessary charges. They are brokers and not the trucking company themselves, they look for available trucking companies and/or drivers willing to take your vehicle. So there are other parties involved in the whole process. Ask them pertinent questions such as cancellation policy and any other fees that you may not be aware of, and have it in writing.
