A few days before Christmas, we bought a 1974 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow from a seller in Kentucky and needed to transport it to our home in Missouri. We've never had to arrange shipment for a car before, so I filled out an online form asking for a shipping quote. I was inundated with phone calls and emails from transport companies, so I spent two entire days at my computer researching this industry, reading reviews on this site, Yelp, and any others I could find.

Frankly, I was very apprehensive about choosing the right company to move our car. I found that many are akin to horse traders (who will tell you exactly what you want to hear without being able to provide the service for the amount of money quoted or the time frame promised). The horror stories made my hair curl!

After hours pouring over this dilemma, I finally settled on DIY Transport. Angel was our company representative. She answered all my probing (and somewhat accusatory) questions with patience and professionalism.

Once we were through the holidays, Angel was able to schedule the move within a few days, for the exact price she had quoted (which was one of the least expensive we'd had from any of the companies, but emphatically NOT the reason we chose DIY). Our driver, Paul, arrived on time at the seller's home and the seller was so impressed that he plans to use Paul in the future as he moves his Bentley and Rolls Royce cars around. Six hours later (with plenty of phone contact with us to let us know where he was) our car arrived in perfect condition.

This is our 3rd Rolls Royce and may not be our last, so I'm relieved to find such an outstanding transport company! Thank you, DIY, Angel, and Paul!
