Horrible - And then it got worse!

Shortly after making my previous post I received an e-mail from Angel that stated:

"I will not be contacting you anymore after this communication. As per the owner of Crossover Auto Transport, James Randolph, if you do not remove your review, your transport will be cancelled and the driver will not pickup your vehicle. Please call me, before 5pm EST, and advise me as to what your wishes are. Failure to contact me will result in your scheduled vehicle being cancelled. Thank you, Angel".

This was copy/pasted for this post. This company misrepresented itself to me. I made my finders fee to them in advance on 7/23/08 and was told it would take up to 8 days. I made attempts to contact them by e-mail on two occasions that went unanswered and they never called either. Today is day 9 and my car is still in Maryland. Today, I was finally e-mailed a driver's name & phone number (prior to them finding my ratings post) and upon calling him I found out that Angel had actually contacted him last week and told him I cancelled my transport (I never cancelled). It was only when he saw my name still on the list that he knew I had not cancelled.

And now this e-mail as if I am the one who did something wrong! Angel has cancelled my order without my consent because she and her company lied. She supposedly did this at the direction of James Randolph, the owner of the company who is never in the office, available to speak or otherwise there to correct their customer service issues. I'm just wondering, does a "James Randolph, owner" actually even exist? No matter the answer to that question, their customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. It doesn't appear business ethics are very important to them either. Angel's title is "Supervisor of Operations" !?! Who and what does she supervise, herself? If so, she needs a new boss.

I have saved this e-mail correspondence for anyone who wishes to review it. If Angel and/or James Randolph didn't like my first post, I'm sure this one won't sit well with them either. And isn't that just tough. If customers don't stick together, these people would be screwing over everyone. My next step is through the Better Business Bureau and a court of law if necessary to get my deposit back. They did nothing to earn it and keeping it would be theft. Wonder if they want to add that title to their list of transgressions.
