I dealt with Cross Country's representative Benjamin Montoya who was very attentive and seemed very knowledgeable before he had my deposit. I was shipping a car from CA to DC and needed it picked up before my move date- I had plenty of flexibility before I was leaving and when car would be delivered, but it had to be picked up by the date I was moving. He said that it wouldn't be a problem. Once he had my deposit, I got put on ignore and my car was not picked up and I had to leave town without any contact from him. He lied about everything- that car would be picked up at my house and delivered to my new address- -wrong at both ends! I had to take a $20 cab ride out to the hinterlands to get my car. He even lied to his supervisor and told him that I had made other plans for the car- I ended up dealing with his supervisor who got the car moved for me- you guessed it for considerably MORE MONEY!
