A big waste of time

Beginning 5/2 Reggie called relentlessly to get our business. We explained to him the issues we had previously with a past transport company and was really concerned; he assured us we wouldn't have any problems with Cross country; and guaranteed a driver was available for pickup. We signed the contract on 5/7 and was told our vehicle would be picked up the 12th or 13th and of course they took the deposit almost immediately, needless to say the car wasn't picked up. On the 14th I call at least 30 times for 9 am to 11am and got Reggie's voice mail each time. After calling from a different number literally 10 seconds later Reggie answered on the first ring. Only to be told rudely after the contract has been signed he no longer has anything to do with us and he then gave me another number to call. I called the number; we finally reached someone and were placed on hold for 30 minutes at least only to be told our date had been changed to the 21st due to inclement weather. I watch the weather channel; it was only raining. However on the 21st the vehicle still wasn't picked up. Once again we had to call them because apparently their phones don't dial out. We were then told money needed to be added to our account and that they would add it to make it more appealing to the driver. As of today (6/3) the car is still in Nebraska. We called them yesterday, I guess for GP, because we knew we would get the run around and we did. This is the worst company ever. Don't waste your time or money; you will get no where with this company. Although I wish I had thought of this earlier, go to BBB.org and check out the rating of these transport companies. That's what I'm doing now in hopes to find a reliable company to move the car Cross Country didn't care about picking up.
