I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT USE COUNTRYWIDE! I should have listened to the other HORRIBLE reviews. They did NOT pick up my car in the 5 day window that they had and then blamed the "rain" on the delay. Well who in the heck knows that? They never called to let me know that b/c of the rain my dates to pick up my car was delayed. I had to leave CA and did not have extra days. Had they called me in advanced I might have been able to make other arrangements. Now, b/c they didn't come through with the service as promised, I have requested a refund. WHAT? Countrywide give money back? Heck no! But they sure are quick to take your money but getting it back when hell freezes over.
I have been trying for weeks and I mean weeks to get a confirmation about my refund from AL who is supposely the "GM". He keeps telling me over and over and over again, "ummm call me back in like a 1/2 hour and like I'll have your info". You call him back and he doesn't even know who you are or what you are talking about. So he'll tell you again to call him back. I have given him my number about 10 times and he has NEVER called me back.
I HATE Countrywide and I will file as many reviews to let other people know to NEVER USE THEM. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER! I would rather scratch my eyes out with a hot poker than to EVER use them again!!!!!!!!!!
Lowest quote from Countrywide means this....the transfer truck will take the highest quote prices first. All moving companies that use a pool of trucks put their transport requests on a huge data base that the drivers chose from based on their availability, destination and price. If you have a low quote then you better have many, many, many days you can wait for your car to be transported b/c you will be waiting. Countrywide has the lowest quotes but that also means you are not at the top, middle or bottom of the list you are on the floor. Problem with that is Countrywide does not let you know that.
My husband is in the military so that means that Countrywide DOES NOT SUPPORT THE MILITARY! DO NOT USE COUNTRYWIDE!!!!

In reference to the above posted Blog. We Countrywide Auto Transport are A high volume shop. We have been in the transportation industry just over 20 years and we transport up to 1,000 vehicles a month. As a high volume shop, we are bound to have an occasional unhappy customer. With the volume that we do (According to Transport reviews) verses the number of complaints that we allegedly have (According to Transport reviews), we show a .53 % ratio of customers (Happy Or Unhappy) that have actually posted a Blog on Transport Reviews. This means that for every 300 customers, we have 1 Possible unhappy customer. Although 0% ratio of unhappy customers is our obvious daily goal, we do on occasion get a customer that just can not be pleased. In the customer service industry, it is close to impossible to please every one. In addition to that, we (Countrywide Auto Transport) obviously know each and everyone of our customers. More that half of the Blogers with complaints on Transport Reviews are in fact Unverifiable. Unfortunately a web site such as Transport Reviews, gives "one unhappy customer" an opportunity to post 5 or even 10 fake Blogs. Many of the Blogs on this web site are in fact over exaggerated, outrageous and or fabricated stories. We are currently consulting an attorney in reference to verifying the origin of these unverifiable "unhappy customers" Making sure that they are not from one malicious individual. Upon discovering who theses malicious Blogers are, we will pursue legal action immediately for Defamation Of Character. It is a travesty for a web site such as Transport Reviews, which is intended to help the Consumer, mislead and misinform them instead. As well as unfortunately give an opportunity to anyone that wasn’t "happy", to "bash" an honest and hard working company. We have, are and always will strive to provide all of our customers with a hassle free transport with the best customer service.
