I was reluctant to use Cosmos because of their average rating here. I was stuck getting a car picked up at a remote location and just said "what the heck"! I took a chance and I'm glad I did. I think the people who gave Cosmos a bad rating are just too darn picky or were out for a free ride. Now, I wasn't too particular about the pickup day, since the car was being repaired at a shop and I was now home 1500 miles away. I don't think its reasonable for customers to expect pickup times to be totally specific. I mean, things happen on the road. Well, it took Cosmos 6 days to book the pickup and it was picked up on the seventh. I think that is totally reasonable. Delivery was scheduled for a Sunday, which was great since I didn't have to take time off of work to wait around. It was scheduled for 3-4pm and ended up at 11:30pm. But, the driver called and asked if he could spend the day with his family (300 miles away) and arrive later. Sure, no problem here! The drivers were friendly and off loaded my car quickly. The most frequent complaints here are about damage and up charges. Well, none of that happened to me. The car was dirty, which was fully expected. There were some oil drips on it, but I already knew this was expected and not considered "damage" per the contract. It all cleaned off just fine. The communication from Cosmos was adequate, but not great. If you expect minute by minute updates, you aren't going to get it. But, they got the job done and I really didn't need chatty feel good calls. Just tell me when the car is being picked up and when it will arrive!!!!! The price was competitive, if a little on the less expensive end. Cosmos provided the broker service they advertise, and the trucker they got to do the job was very good. What else can you ask for!
