Bottom line was this: I dropped the car at the Matson port in Honolulu on the day I was told to by Mark, and the day I was promised that it would arrive in Texas, I picked it up at 0700 on a sunday morning. The driver of the truck met me in a Walmart parking lot 3 miles from where I live and had the car unloaded when I arrived with no damage to the car. I shook the guy's hand and drove away within 5 minutes of my wife dropping me off there. I got exactly what I paid for and next time I ship a vehicle, there will be no searching around and calling any other companies, Cosmos will be my first call.

I checked out a number of companies on the internet, looking for a company to transport my car from Honolulu to Texas on a military PCS move. Every company I checked out had a few warning signs that made me think twice about handing them my car as well as money to transport my car. I found Cosmos because of a recommendation from a friend who had used them twice before, always with good result.

Shipping a car can be a risky undertaking, but the staff at Cosmos reasured me that they've been doing this for quite a while and they take good care of your vehicle. I was quoted $1640 to ship a 2-door coupe from Honolulu to Texas, which was $150 cheaper than the other company I was looking at (will remain nameless but they are based in miami and their first name starts with a B).

So my car was shipped across the pacific by Matson, then the driver picked up the car with a car hauler in Long Beach Ca. He transported it to Tx for me to pick up exactly on time.

A company's rating on the Better Business Bureau means a lot to me, and these guys have an A, which is warranted, in my opinion.

Overall, I give them 5 stars and would give more stars if I could. Shipping my car was one part of my PCS move that was actually easy.
