I had contacted Corportate Auto Transport (CAT) back on 12/23 to pick up a vehicle (that I won in an auction) in CA and ship it to MA, they quoted me a price of $750 for "standby" and after I spoke to the rep on the phone said the vehicle would be picked up and delivered in a few days, well, that turned into a week, and then 2 weeks, and after numerous calls to check on the vehicle, they "suggested" the price was TOO low and that I do their standard service. so after agreeing to pay the additional $200, the vehicle would definitely be picked and en put en route, fast forward another couple days....nothing!! I then received a notice int he mail from the auction company saying that if my vehicle wasn't picked up soon I would loose the amount I purchased it for ($8,500!!). I called back and let them know the situation and they said again they would have their dispatcher put it on the board and try to get it done. I had been hearing this for over a couple weeks, so instead of risking losing the car and the money I paid for it, I decided to go with another shipping company, and now when I called to cancel the order they said my deposit wasn't refundable!! So, tonight I will be calling my credit card company and having them charge back Corporate Auto Transport as I'm sure they will not be pleased that one of their good customers was charged for no services delivered!! Beware of this company, they promise you great prices but there is no way any driver would accept them, so your vehicle stays on the board indefinitely! Feel free to contact me, I went through this hassle and hope you don't have to.

We did not quote khouri $750 for his Nissan Armada. He received quotes originally for a sedan but then placed his order online changing it to an SUV without telling us first. SUV's cost more to move because they are bigger. Khouri said he was not in a hurry to move this and we DEFINITELY explained this process in full to him. He is claiming that we misled him but that's impossible because every quote receives an automated explanation of the process/industry and our quotes are estimates. We DID advise him that to be reasonable his original quotes were too low for his SUV. He said he understood the process and wanted to try a low price first because he was not in a hurry. Our original advice if he was in a hurry to move this is to go Standard Shipping, not Stand-by. We are paid to work for our customers though and therefore we will always take our customer's words as honest and reliable. If he did not agree we would understand and not process the order. We wish Khouri's misunderstandings wouldn't have led to blaming us for things we did not lie about. Everything is in writing and management has reviewed his claims and found no wrong doings. Thousands of other past customers have no complaints like his. We wish we could've made him happy of course. - C.A.T.
