Prior to approaching Tara at Corporate Auto Transport in Jan 2011, I had shipped my car once across the country at a rate of $700. That was during the summer of 2009. I understood that that rate was rather a find, and moreover rates were likely to have increased. So after a bit of discussion, I gave Tara my final miserly rate as $750.

Tara was absolutely wonderful. I found her to be very polite and open in her communication - if she felt there may be hindrances caused by a relatively low offer, she explained them at length. At the same time, she was patient with me and committed to see a deal through. So despite her concerns, she was absolutely willing to accommodate my request. Soon enough Tara called back to inform me that she found an option costing $770 and expressed her amazement at the find. Since we spoke at length in an earlier phone call and got to know each other (I think that call took about 40 minutes!) I knew I could trust her judgement and accepted the offer.

Lastly, I would also like to note that I am familiar with the time delays that can happen in transporting vehicles, so I didn't mind if my car would not arrive exactly on time. I was under no time pressure, and understood that time delays are not in the hands of transportation agents - so my stressing the agent, Tara, over the time factor was out of the picture. Nonetheless, my vehicle arrived on time.

I have taken time to read through the reviews of other companies on this site. Having called a company or two that have bad reputations accumulating here, and having canceled my transactions with them mid-way because of a particularly *bad feeling* over the ordeals, I now understand the biggest issues in this industry faced by customers to be those of communication and behavior. The source of bad reviews often stem from an agents inability to communicate clearly to the client and his/her rudeness. When these two things are put together, the customer is likely going to get a rough spin over the phone, more money out of his pocket... and possibly no car delivered.

I would absolutely recommend Tara at Corporate Auto Transport to anyone. She was very polite and patient with me. She will take care of your transaction to the best of her ability. And lastly, rushing things may likely lead to a bad experience, so if it is your first time getting your vehicle shipped, I would recommend you to allow Tara to explain how it works. Its most important that the agent and customer are on the same page at all times, especially to eliminate any possible hangups along the way - Tara understands this well.

Thank you so much, Tara, for being such a lively, amazing and accommodating agent in this otherwise super cut-throat business! I will recommend you to anyone of my friends and family members considering to ship their cars anywhere in the U.S., because I know they can trust you!

Best of luck
