I used Core Nautical Group to ship my vehicle to Europe, and was severly disappointed. Firstly, my vehicle was shipped across the world with no contact information for myself. My car arrived in Italy and sat there because they didn't know who it belonged to or how to get in touch with me. When I was finally made away that it had arrived, I drove to pick it up. The vehicle had been vandalized (slurs written on the windows about USA), and and I was informed that it was shipped to two additional ports that I was not made aware of. One of them being Egypt, during their turmmoil. I assume that it was there that trash was put in my car, grease stains were all over everything; the leather interior, carpeting, the backs of the seats, the ceiling. Ripped up clothing, cigarrette ashes, and leaflets with Arabic writing were thrown into the cab. Additionally, there was no gas in the tank, and at leat a couple of extra hundred miles were on the odometer. I was very upset. Core Nautical has not pursued a claim with the company that they contracted the job to. In fact, they have quit responding to my emails and messages altogether. I was denied a request for my vehicle inspeciton report that was needed for the insurance claim to get repairs made. (Grease was caked on the tirm, which eroded it and caused it to peel off. Dents and scratches to exterior, need for complete interior detail.) I would never recommend their services, because, once something goes wrong, they stop all customer service and refuse to help resolve the issue.

On 9/27 we received the email from the customer that the vehicle had damage. We contacted the terminal in the US and ACL(ship line)to get the inspection reports and procedures to file a claim with the carrier. We immediately emailed the claims department to notify them of the issue and forthcoming claim. On 9/28 the terminal directed us to ACL's claim department which we had contacted the day before. On 9/28 we received a reply (included in the emails we have provided)that no claims would be accepted because this was a used vehicle. We additionally have tried to get an inspection report as has the customer from ACL so she can file a claim with her insurance but have received the same response as she has that due to the fact this is a used vehicle no liability is accepted and that they do not know the condition of the vehicle at receipt. On 10/10 and 10/19 the same response was received. The port of load is used frequently as is ACL and we have never encountered an issue with either. The port of Monfalcone is used mainly when we ship US military personal and again we have not experienced any issues at all with this port. We have always responded in a timely manner and have tried to our best ability to get a resolution the customer will be happy with but however we were unable to as her complaint is witness to.
