Did not honor quote

I received two different quotes from the same person at this company. When I actually chose this company and created the order, the higher quote was used. When I asked why they did not honor the first quote I received, they told me they didn't have that on record. I requested quotes from many other companies before this one. Some companies sent me two quotes. Those that sent two quotes told me to disregard the previous quote. This company did not do that. If they had, I would have no problem with paying more. It just didn't seem fair that they did not honor their own quote. I even forwarded the e-mail to them to prove I had received that quote. The only response was that they didn't have that on file and "sorry for the confusion". I will not use this company again as they are not honest enough to honor their own quotes.
