CAVINESS AUTO IS BAD!!!

My husband and I called Caviness Auto 2 months ago, and were given a quote of $850.00 to move our truck from NY to our home in CA. We had to pay a $100.00 deposit. Every time I would contact her about the status of the move, she would tell me that she still doesnt have a hauler, that there are ALOT of cars that need to be moved before ours. We finally got fed up with it and called a different carrier. We called them yesterday and they are picking up our vehicle in 2 days!!! Granted for more money, but a more reliable company. My husband called Tammy Caviness today and she informed him that our deposit was non-refundable! Where in the heck does it state that??? So she gets $100.00 for doing nothing? So i sent her a not so nice email. We went with AA Auto Movers, they were really pleasent and did inform us that Caviness does this all the time, they dont have their own movers, they contract it out. Apparently they are natorious for this sort of thing. I definitly will be contacting the BBB on Monday! My husband is in the Marines and knows alot of people who ship their vehicles alot so Caviness wont get their business either!

I am not sure who Katie is . She did not leave her quote number on this letter. So I can not ansure to the charges. I try not to bad mouth any one that is in the same work that we are in. And I know that A Auto Movers did not say that we have worked with them for years. We have even hauled some of there cars and and they have hauled some of ours. So I do not know why this Katie said this.
