NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I am currently dealing with this company. They have left a young girl in Charleston dry and high after promising to pick up the car 5/4/09 ensuring us that we had left enough time between her flight and pickup date. Did we receive a courtesy call on 5/4/09 stating there wouldn't be a pick up? No we did not. Did we get a call the day after? No we did not. Caviness failed to answer all messages left on the answering machine and continues to ignore calls today. The only communication has been the following: A bold email from Norman's email address yesterday stating that he did not know what the back up was about but suggested a bonus to the driver if he pick up that evening! How completely unethical is this suggestion and the company for communicating in this manner. A complete and total disregard to the so called "customer satisfaction".

I am currently waiting on that promised satisfaction. The incompetent employee who emailed me back finally after 24 hours today told me Norman has been in the hospital with cancer and that the owner wouldn't be in until Monday. Yet another case of dishonesty! Norman emailed me yesterday. If claims are made that it wasn't Norman then they have a bigger problem with fraud on their hands. A tip for Caviness employees: You are by no means allowed to misrepresent yourself in emails.

I am still waiting for a call back with an apology. Any customer deserves a deposit returned if standards are not met. We certainly do not have anymore room for dishonesty in American businesses so let's see how this one pans out. Do they have a conscious? Will they do the right thing?

This is as much as I can say for now as the law will take care of the rest. As for Caviness, it is unfortunate that they decided to dissatisfy someone who will surely make them regret every customer they have deceived thus far. Please do your research before booking with Caviness. Stayed tuned to national broadcast and newspapers for a full story and crackdown of this unethical business.
