The only word I can use to describe this company is AWEFUL. I originally spoke with steve on the phone who was very nice and gave me a quote of 1,050 and guarenteed me that my car would 100% be picked up on April 30. He told me they would be charging my card $100 that day as a deposit, and they would charge my card the $950 remaining balance once the car was dropped off. I then got a call from Stacy, who was also very nice, saying the driver would call me when he was 3-4 hours away from picking up the vehicle. Well Saturday came and went and no phone call, no car carrier. I called Friday the 29th to confirm they would be there saturday, no answer, no call back. I called Saturday a few times to see what was going on, no answer, no call back. By Tuesday I hadn't been able to speak to ANYONE. Finally I got ahold of Stacey again who said they might not be able to get my car because it is a difficult route (which I still don't understand since the car was located right off of a major highway). She then said she would call me right back. No call back. I called her back that night and she told me she was getting someone and they would be picking it up either that night or the next day and she was going to call them and call me back. No call back. I called her again Wendsday and she told me again someone would be there that night or the next day, she would speak to the driver and call me back. No call back. I call her again on Thursday, she tells me again she will speak to a driver and call me back. FINALLY my phone rings. She tells me a truck will be there that day for an extra $25, gives me the drivers name and cell phone number, and tells me he will call 2-3 hours away from pick up. No call from the driver. I called his cell phone and he told me he would not be there that day, he would be there the next day before noon and he will call before he gets there. Friday the 6th by 10:30 he still hadnet called, so I called his cell phone again, and he told me he was 2 minutes away (good thing I called him). The car being towed had no engine or brakes in it, the driver knew there was no engine, but did not know there were no brakes. He had someone with him, and I was with my friend whos car was being towed - since the car was light we were going to push it on to the trailer. The driver decided to borrow our tow chain (even though he had a box full of tow straps) and drove another customers car off of the transport, and tried towing out car with it!!! I couldn't believe my eyes! They were jerking the other customers car around, almost drove it into a big granite sign, and almost ripped the antenna off. Finally they realized it would not work and we started pushing the car up (as we were pusing I noticed a big crack in one of the ramps). The driver decided we needed more help and ran across the street to a construction site and asked the men there to stop working and help (obviously the answer was no). The car was light enough for us to get it on the transport, which we eventually did. The driver then told us he needed to keep our nice tow chain, that he needed it and didnt have one (we saw him open a box full of tow straps). We told him no, and he tried telling us he couldn't deliver the car without it. Needless to say I put the chain out of eye sight. We were told the car would arrive between Tues May 10, and Thursday the 12. The car got to its destination on Monday the 9th. The driver refused to drop off the car until the recipient paid them the full $1,075. After the car was dropped off, I contacted stacy to tell her that they charged the recipient the full amount. She told me they don't charge credit cards upon delivery (when I spoke with steve, he told me my card would be charged - and since the recipient had already sent me funds to pay for shipping, he was needless to say, not impressed). Since the full amount had been paid, I asked for my deposit back. She said she would speak to the owner and call me back. I asked for his number, and she said she could not give it to me. No call that day. I called the next day, no answer, no call back. Finally today, May 11, I get ahold of stacy. She told me they would not be refunding my deposit, and once again I could not get a contact number for the owner. I immediatly hung up with her and called my bank to open up a dispute. 45 minutes later stacy called me back and told me they have refunded me my money, and it should be in my account in 3-4 buisness days, she also sent me a confirmation email stating the same thing. The only positive thing I have to say is that both steve and stacy were very nice and couteous on the phone. Unfortunatly that is where this company falls flat. I strongly suggest to use another company. You will pay more money, but as proven in my case, you get what you pay for....

Ms. Cheryl - Lets start by saying you are not the person whom Cars R Us did the contract with and performed services for. We advised our customer about the delay in picking up the car mentioned. Before the car was dispatched to the driver, it was advised the amount due on delivery at which time no one disagreed and I was advised it was okay! The car was picked-up and delivered early with no damages to the car. Now after the car has been delivered you decide to call and get a refund FOR SERVICES WE RENDERED! We don't work for charity as I'm sure you don't work for free. You were issued a full refund despite your character being out of line. I truly wish you the best on your next transport endeavour!
