IF YOU LIKE BEING TREATED BADLY THEN USE THIS COMPANY

I contracted with Car2Transport to ship my vehicle from Indiana to Alaska with the understanding that my vehicle would be picked up on March 14 and would be delivered to its destination by April 1, 2016. April 1st came and went and I found out that my car had never left Illinois. The company that they contracted had taken my money and essentially abandoned my vehicle because they claimed that they went bankrupt.

Initially, Steven from C2T was helpful in getting another driver to retrieve my vehicle, but the problems came when the company would not release the money that I had paid them to the other driver. Steven did work hard to try to make that happen, but after a few weeks I guess C2T got tired of me calling them. They stopped answering my phone calls and I would have to call from different numbers. Steven miraculously found another job and no longer works in the industry, although his phone number and voicemail is still in service.

The manager of C2T demonstrated horrible customer service skills. When I initially asked about their vetting process to find drivers she said they weren’t liable and stuff like that happens. When I inquired about a refund of their brokerage fee because they failed to do their due diligence, I was told in a flippant manner that I wouldn’t be getting a full refund. They never processed that refund. Eventually, I was told that would receive the full refund of $250 between the dates of May 4-6. I am still waiting on that refund. She hung up on my husband when he called to inquire about the vehicle. I was outright lied to many times about the location of my vehicle and I was told that the new driver had received funds when they clearly hadn’t. The manager is rude and frankly, it must be nice to go to bed at night knowing that you’ve swindled service members who fight for your right to run fraudulent businesses.

UPDATE:

Today I received a phone call from the manager at Car2Transport offering me the $250 refund that I was owed to take down this review. She wanted me to take it down and then she would pay me because they did not appreciate being bashed on the internet. Obviously I did not agree to this because I do not trust this company and I do not appreciate bribery. I was also told that they would just pay people to cancel out my reviews. So please just pay attention to those compensated reviews. They are the bread and butter of this company.
