Reason: Active Duty Soldier with PCS Orders

Car Shippers of America is the worst company for any soldier or civilian in the nation to ship their personally owned vehicles.
I recently hired them to ship two of my vehicles, Paul Damiano was the coordinator. I paid $395 for the broker fee and $2400 cash to the driver on delivery. The carrier hired by Paul Damiano on behalf of Car Shippers of America was Jerry's Auto Haul. The driver was Ron Van Hook and his wife Melissa. Upon receiving the vehicles on the side of the road because the driver claimed to not be able to find a large enough space for the truck to properly unload the vehicles we noticed the cars were extremely dirty, like they had been run through dirt. Ron admitted to the back bumper damage done to the Ford Mustang and provided a $400 quote and cash for the labor to fix the damage. Once we washed the vehicles we noticed scratch marks left on the roof from the chains being dropped on it and dragged across the roof. An estimate of that damage alone is $1200. The second vehicle a Ford Explorer 2017 had paint chipped off the right quarter panel from the chain being dropped on it which the driver never mentioned but did admit to Paul Damiano at some point. Someone had attempted to poorly fix the chipped paint by adding touch up paint and buffering it in, unfortunately the damage was visible once the car was washed. When I contacted the coordinator Paul Damiano they requested pictures which I forwarded them the pictures of the damages on both vehicles Paul and his co-worker Anthony proceeded to act like we were bothering them with our concerns and repeatedly told us that we were interrupting their family dinner and hung up the phone. When we blocked our number and called the same number back Paul Damiano ensured us that he would call us back after dinner with his family, later stating by text message that the dents were not going anywhere. 72 hours have passed and they have not returned our call, updated us with new information, or addressed any of our concerns. I am sending this experience to the Pentagon in an official memorandum so that they can notify all military bases and commands that this company should no longer receive any military support due to their negligence, deception and poor professional work ethic. We will also be making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and sending a copy of this review to (CNN, Fox etc.) news channels and all social medias to prevent this from happening to another soldier or person.

Lexis, We reached out to the carrier with the pics and your explanation. We are still trying to coordinate an amicable resolution. We did our job by providing a quote and dispatching a driver out to the vehicle. We can not foresee what happens on the road. We apologize for the inconvenience.
