After posting this review below, I received a call from Andy who wanted to compensate me to get me to remove the review. It has now been a little over a week and Capital has offered to move my car for $600.00 MORE than the original quote, return my deposit direct to my credit card within 15 - 20 days or mail a check but is not able to scan a copy of the check and email it to me to verify they are sending it. I don't expect to get the car moved or my money back from these lying thieves and hopefully my review will at least save someone else the headache and stress from dealing with this company!!!!

If you want no follow through, empty commitments, and a fight to get a security deposit returned, This Company is the #1 Highest rated on my list. I emailed and spoke with George Davis for a couple days after reading some of the reviews on this site. I explained to him my son was flying out to California on September 1st and I needed the car moved before he left Michigan. After much consideration and the following email from George, we set up the shipment of car vehicle…

1. Thats right. $850 total, $150 deposit to us, and remaining $700 to the driver(cash, cashier's check or money order)
2. Thats right. You can have up to 120 lbs. of items in the vehicle and if you have to put them in the back seat they can't be any higher than the window.
3. Yes Pickin up the vehicle on the 29th-31st should not be a problem at all. Please feel free to ask me any other questions.

On August 18th a contract was signed to move the car by August 29th - 31st as stated in the email. Once the deposit was taken from my bank account and the contract was signed, I was never able to speak with George again. No email response no phone calls. Every time I called Capital, a receptionist would answer and need to “handle my call”. On September 5th the car still had not shipped. We called almost every day and received excuse after excuse. We then began to receive calls from other brokers stating our car was listed on the national site for over 1300.00 and still not being accepted by a truck driver. The receptionist at Capital once again intervened my call for George, stating the companies were “just trying to get our business”.

On September 14th (27 days after signing the contract and 17 days after we were told it would be picked up) and after lie upon lie about why our car HAD NOT been picked up we cancelled the shipment with Capital. I was told we would receive a refund in 5 to 7 days. Jessica is the only person who handles the refunds and only works from 10 to 5 or so I am told. She never makes notations of my many and almost daily calls so no one can give me an update if I miss her during her work hours. Needless to say to make this long review shorter, she continues the dishonesty trend with many excuses as to why almost 30days after cancelling we still have NOT been refunded for our security deposit.

Thanks to the lies and games – in addition to the loss of $150.00 we are still without the car and our sons items in California!!!!!

AS PER THIS CUSTOMER, WE ARE VERY SORRY THINGS DIDNT WORK OUT, NOW THIS CLIENT HERE WAS DOUBLE POSTED WITH ANOTHER COMPANY, WHICH IN FACT MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO GET A DRIVER. AND THIS CUSTOMER WAS REFUNDED 3 TO 5 DAYS AFTER HER CANCELLATION, I DID REACH HER AND TOLD HER WE MAIL OUT CHECKS FOR REFUNDS, IT IS NOT EASY WHEN YOU ARE IN THE MERCY OF THE DRIVERS, WE ARE DEEPLY SORRY
