Capitol deleted my previous review because they claim I was never a customer.. well that's a load of b.s. I have many many emails and my bank statement to prove it. However, here is my original review and I will post others until I get my refund..
**I still am shaking and in tears after dealing with this company. This is my 3rd time shipping a car and have NEVER had the issues I had with this company. So many red flags from the beginning, so in a way I guess I'm at fault for not turning away then but they gave me a quote $200 below what everyone else was charging. At first, I got contact right way from Andrew Banks but after I paid the initial deposit it went downhill. It took days to get a second order form, since the first one had a higher price than originally quoted, and I did not want to sign something with the wrong p rice. After that, I received no contact. When the original date for shipping came and went, I contacted the agency and was told they were having trouble finding a driver and was told to call back. I called and called and was told still no driver. I explained that it was urgent that I get my car shipped and changed the ship from/to cities, hoping to get a driver. I explained if there still was not a driver by the next day I would be cancelling my order. I called the next day and still no driver. I told them I wanted to cancel, I was told to call back in an hour because their accounting person was not in yet. In the meantime,I contacted an agency I had recently used and got them to set up a pick and delivery, even though their price was higher, and even got the driver's information. I called Capitol back and was rudely told I needed to email my cancellation, which I did. Then I get a call from a man, Chuck from Alston transfers. He stated he had a driver in Reno (which is hour s away) and he could be here either tonight or maybe tomorrow because the truck is having alternator issues. He stated if I did not hear from him tonight to call the driver tomorrow to see where he is at. I explained we had already gone with a different agency but told him I would call him right back to confirm if we would be sticking with other agency. I emailed Capitol and asked them to hold off on cancellation until I could confirm. I called Chuck right back and told him I did not need the driver sent because we were sticking with the other company. He stated "if you want to pay $200 more, then go ahead" and hung up on me. I right way emailed Capitol again asking for the cancellation. A few minutes later I got repeated phone calls from a rep named "Vicky" stating my so-called driver "Chuck" had been dispatched and he is right around the corner (mind you Chuck stated he is not the driver, and Chuck also stated he was in Arizona, a completely different state). She became argumentative and would barely let me finish my sentences when I was trying to explain the situation. I explained all I wanted was a refund of my deposit. She stated I was not eligible for a refund because a driver had been dispatched, which was crap. A driver had not dispatched and I emailed before she even called me to tell me they supposedly had a driver. I have emailed Jessica numerous time for a refund and have yet to hear back. I am moving across the country with my infant daughter, and desperately needed my car for my first day of work. I contacted someone who is familiar with car transports and he stated my car was not moving because Capitol priced it $200 under the going rate, just to book it, and no one would touch it. I would've waited the 7 days or so they said only to find out they could not find someone to transport. He also stated companies try to buy time with bogus stories about having a driver, then all of a sudden the truck is broken down and doesn't arrive when it should etc, which is exactly the story that I got. Now because of Capitol, not only am I paying more for my car shipment,I will not have my car in time to get to work, and they are saying I am not getting my $150 back. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE TO DATE.
