I contacted Capital Auto Transport after my daughter had given me their contact information. We wanted to transport a small electric Zap car from LA to the Portland, OR area. My contact at Capital was Dakota who was very thorough in explaining how the process worked and was upfront about the fees involved. The company took credit card information and only charged their $185 fee after our vehicle was loaded. The driver would then collect his agreed upon fee of $400 upon delivery of the vehicle. He would only be able to accept cash or money order.

Dakota was very prompt in keeping me abreast of potential carriers. He would leave messages on my cell phone as well as my home phone. A couple of the initial carriers were unable to accommodate a three-wheeled vehicle so we had to wait a week or two until a match was found. Since we were not in a hurry for the delivery, the wait was not a problem. Patience paid off when the carrier Annabell Transport was located and had room on his vehicle. Last on, first off meant that our vehicle was the first to be delivered. All went according to plan.
