Go to Capitol's website and read about how the auto transport business really works. Big promises and low-ball quotes do not move cars. Or to say it another way, "Money talks and suckers walk."

Capitol was not the cheapest quote of the 10 I received. However, after investigating the $50.00 rebate that some shippers offered (which REQUIRES you to post a positive review regardless of how satisfied you really are) , Capitol's quote was only a few dollars higher. Capitol's broker fee (or deposit as some call it) was anywhere from $75.00 to $135.00 lower than other shippers. What does this mean for the customer? Take what the shipper quoted, subtract their "deposit", and that is how much the driver/operator will get. If it's too low your car will sit. Period. Nobody will be excited about moving your car because they aren't making much on the job. Capitol's low fee leaves more for the driver/operator. It's like putting a sign on your car saying "Pick me! I can make you some good money!" The car was picked up within 36 hours and arrived three days later (GA to TX, about 900 miles). The car arrived in great shape.

To Cat: Thanks for your help. I appreciate your friendly, informative and professional attitude during the whole process. I will definitely use Capitol Auto Transport next time I need to ship a vehicle and would recommend your service to anyone.
