Pickup was Late but car made it

I am very satisfied with Capital Auto Transport and it's reps Dakota. However, the pickup of my daughter's BMW by Your Auto Logistics (the carrier) was about 3 days late. Although, this may have been caused by the threat of rain/snow, wintry mix of weather the day after the schedule pickup. The company did not want to hold the car for a day because due to the bad weather that would be between Houston and Dallas, they were not gone to put their trucks on the road. I was told that they would pick it up on the next day. They never did. My daughter did reach the scheduler and he said that it would be on Saturday between noon and 1pm. Well by this time I had to make special arrangements to have someone there because my daughter had already moved to Houston, I had to work all day and my wife had plans. My wife canceled her plans, however by 2pm she still hadn't heard from anyone. By2:30 or so they called and said that their were road restriction in our subdivision that prohibited them from coming to pick the car up.I have seen moving trucks in our subdivision countless times. My wife had no idea where they were talking about to meet her. They said in that case they would come to us and pick it up at 9am Sunday. It was 10:30 - 10:45 before they showed. They drove car about 20 miles from our house to load it. The redeeming quality for them is that it was delivered on time and in the same condition. However my daughter had to walk 6 blocks on Monday morning to get it. I would probably use them (the carries)again because I will give them a pass for the weather. But they need to communicate better with the customer. Dakota and Kat are very good at what they do.
