Needed my 1996 Saab sedan picked-up & moved from Colton, Ca to Birmingham, Al @ the lowest-but-reasonable cost. So, I requested a quote from Capitol Auto Transport. Soon afterward I received a call from a gentleman named, Dakota. He respectfully and casually explained the differences between CAT and other auto transport brokers and further described their process for selecting "quality", experienced transporting companies who actually care about the job they perform and most importantly, the people/each customer that they serve. Dakota, unbeknown to me worked diligently and located a transporter only hours after our phone chat who met their standards (M2R Auto Transport Inc.) and happened to be in nearby Riverside area (Great timing!).

Though I had yet to choose a broker then, Dakota's diligent effort, respectful demeanor & confident explanation of what I should realistically expect and my not wanting to waste another hour searching for & waiting DAYS maybe WEEKS for the next reasonable opportunity to happen along, I gave CAT the job to move the car.
I paid considerably more than I had desired but, was convinced that it was a fruitful investment. Now I'm certain that I made the right choice.
Communication was NEVER an issue! Never any "dial 1 for this or dial 2 for that"!

I think it was the following day that I received a call from a young lady named, Cat (Owner of CAT). She was very respectful & professional in following up on and updating me on the process of transporting the car. I spared her additional calls by requesting that she call me only if there was possible issues with the transport process....There were non. However, Jamie Ochoa, driver/owner of M2R Auto Transport Inc. had to inform me of the fact that the car "was inoperable" and thus had to be pushed onto the trailer because a person using the name, Robert Bianco, claimed eB*y seller for Caring Cars Inc. now (under investigation by eB*y as a charity beneficiary, for policy violations) lied about the car's overall condition in their eB*y auction ad, He "never" answered any of my numerous phone calls/emails.
I was not charged for the car's "inoperable condition" by Jamie because I was also lied to about this by Robert Bianco....Thank you! Jamie!

Jamie picked up the car on Aug 5, 2009 and delivered it on Aug 10, 2009 (the original estimated PICKUP & DELIVERY dates).
The car was dirty but evidence show it to have been there before it was picked up.
Both Jamie & co-driver, Oscar Orellana were respectful, considerate and professional in every way.
Though there was minor (cosmetic damage) overlooked during the pickup inspection but, considering the pickup environment & the time frame somewhat forced upon them and their overall performance, this was rendered as a NON-ISSUE.
The car arrived from it's 2007 mile trip in 5 days...NO EXCUSES, NO DECEPTION, NO UNWARRANTED DELAYS & DELIVERED literally to my door without having to call for directions. :o)

I had to request aid via their battery booster so I could operate/adjust the car's windows (The car's battery was dead & I later discovered that the serpentine belt had come off-BROKEN PULLEY...seller's fault, which explains the dead battery & why the car wasn't drivable), Jamie & Oscar were glad to assist.

I am very grateful for having the opportunity to have my vehicle handled by the quality people @ Capitol Auto Transport and the two young men who are M2R Auto Transport Inc....I wish you all the best for the superb work!

Also, I must give a shout to Andy, for proving to be very handy with follow-up info.

Thanks to everyone who made this job professionally uneventful and thus, an unforgettable (positive) experience.
(Now I PERSONALLY know WHY they have EARNED such 100% positive rating! Actions speak louder than words!)
