I was a little hesitant to ship my car in the first place because it was my first time sending my beloved vehicle across country. Plus I was receiving hundreds of calls for weeks straight from different companies and brokers wanting to give me a great deal and trying to talk me out of working with different companies. One of the companies tried to charge me 1350 with everything included, and spent 30 minutes trying to talk me out of working with Capitol. Capitol forewarned me of a broker I had provided my credit information to ahead of time and told me what a bad situation that could be. I had called that other company and told them to take my info from their databases and erase it as I was no longer interested in working with them. I submitted my request 2 weeks early as I like to get a head start on trying to get things done. Eventually the laziness of the other company removing my info from the dispatch board complicated my pickup date as there was two listings in my name, but with Janet's help, she gave me some info on how to help the situation on my end. She constantly assured me not to worry and that my vehicle would get picked up soon. Well my pickup date came and went, and just when I thought I was screwed, they came through and found a carrier to pick up my truck. Andy was extremely helpful in getting my pickup and drop off coordinated as my situation was a little tricky. Ummah LLC was the carrier that picked up truck. I wasn't too pleased with them as they didn't seem very helpful or sure of when my vehicle would be picked up. I ended up having my vehicle picked up the day before I left California permanently as the driver was not sure when he would be in my area. After the pickup I was expecting my vehicle to be arriving on the 28th in DC the same day I was. I was understanding as it was during the holidays, however the driver gave me the impression that he may be arriving before me. I called on the 27th to find out when he would be available to drop off when he told me he'd be arriving 3 days later. I ended up having to rent a car for 3 days waiting for my vehicle to be dropped off. When I finally got it, it was quite dirty from the trip, but that was no problem considering it was an open carrier. Overall, my impression of Capitol Auto was great and I felt reassured. But the carrier is a different story. Thanks Janet and Andy!
